Below I have written a past scene in my life that shows a big part of me. The point of a scene is for the audience to visualise what you’re trying to say. The formula for a creating a scene is “ Description + Action = Scene. A description of a scene includes the five senses: touch, sight, hear, smell, and taste. And action refers to what is going on in a scene. These three links will help you better understand a scene.
I’m in my psychology class on a Friday morning. The walls are white with a little shade of yellow due to the lights. The seats are arranged in a rectangular like shape with just three sides. The fourth is reserved for the teacher. I look to my left to see the time. It’s a round black clock with a white background, and black numbers. It reads 11:33am. I sigh as I realise that with 20 minutes to go, there’s no way I can escape. There are over 20 people, each staring at the person to the left of me as it's his turn to present. Oh yes, It's project presentation day. Boy do I hate these types of days. The nerves are running, and the heart is racing. It’s over 70 degrees yet I’m shivering. He begins to speak, but I can’t hear, for I am too concentrated on myself. Sitting there with my right cheek laying on my right fist I’m too busy dreaming a nightmare about my soon to be tortures experience. The clapping snapped me out of it. The clapping? OH NO! He’s finished. Now it’s my turn. The teacher frightens me like a jumpscare as she calls my name to present. I stand up. I don’t have to go the center of the room, but when has that ever mattered. I start speaking, and as always I stutter. I’m not even sure as to what I’m saying, because I’m thinking about what’s going on. I’m saying to myself “Alright c’mon you can do this just a little more.” Okay, I’m finished. One more step. “Any questions?” I ask. Not a single hand in the air, more than likely out of pity as it’s obvious how nervous I am, and they just want to let me be. The teacher says “No? Okay, thank you Ani.” An unimaginable sense of relief takes over my body as they clap while I sit back down. It’s over. I grab my water bottle and take a nice refreshing drink as the next person stands up. Again, I can’t hear what he’s saying as i’m thinking about myself. Lunch is around the corner. I wonder what I’ll have: pepperoni pizza, pasta with white sauce, or maybe a buffalo cheesesteak. I can smell them all, and I can’t wait.

This blog post provides description, action, and reflection to flesh out a scene from one moment in your life. I understand that posting a photo from this moment may have proven difficult, so the images provided here are fine.
